Meet Sharon Oluwatise, The New Singer Dominating The Nigerian Gospel Music Industry

A star in the making is right now hugging the Nigerian entertainment industry, gospel music sector to be precise. In the person of multi-talented singer, Sharon Oluwatise better known as Symplicitee.

She grew up in Ikeja Metropolitan Area of Lagos but the vibrant musician hails from the popular Akinbodu family in Ipara Remo, Ogun State.

Education for her started from Tender Cradle Nursery and Primary School, Dipeolu Street Off Obafemi Awolowo Way Ikeja, Lagos before she moved to Ifako International School for her secondary school education. She later left the school for Mayflower Private School, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State where she got her secondary school certificate.

Her full name is Sharon Oluwatise Akinbodu. She was born on the 21st of March in the early 2000. Sharon O.A joined the church choir at a tender age and learnt how to play the keyboard and the basics of the violin and guitar.

Oluwatise aspired to be a gospel singer when she was 10-year-old, by the Grace and Mercy of God, she composed her first song at age 15 but as a secondary school undergraduate, she was not privileged to go studio until recently.

Last Sunday 21st March 2021, was her birthday and to celebrate the day, the pretty Sharon released her debut single titled Alagbada Ina.

Alagbada Ina by Symplicitee is a sou-lifting worship song, referencing the greatness of the almighty God. Sharon is a called-out talented young female Gospel Music Minister, who has the Divine mandate to Praise God, depopulate the kingdom of darkness and rescue souls to the kingdom of God with the tool of songs.
