2023: DPG Meets Guber, National Assembly, House Of Assemby Candidates; To Sign Peace Accord February 16

 

In view of the tension in the state among contending political parties, the Directorate of Politics and Governance will be meeting all the political gladiators tomorrow, February 16, 2023.
With the theme; “ 2023 Peaceful Election Stakeholders Summit and Peace Accord”, the summit is put together to douse the political tension and restore sanity to political rhetorics among contestants.
The event slated for 11am at Elevation Church, Maryland according to the DPG directorate of media will parade INEC recognised candidates across the registered 18 political parties.
The meeting which is geared towards having free, fair and peaceful election in the state will also afford all the INEC approved candidates in the state the opportunity to sign a peace accord and to listen to some of the DPG and PFN leaders in south west such as Pastor Femi Emmanuel, Pastor Itua Ighodalo, Rev STV Adegbite, Bishop Theophilus Ajose, Apostle Titi Oluwadare amongst other speakers on election template.
According to the organisers, the programme was put together to further admonished politicians not to result to campaign of calumny that will inflame passion and further aggravate the tension in the land.
