Pretty Actress, Rose Odika To Host Beauty Of Culture Festival in Abuja

 

Nollywood Icon, Yeye Rose Odika JP, who is the Deputy President of Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) is set to host the 2024 edition of her annual cultural event, “The Beauty of Culture Festival”. This highly anticipated celebration of Nigeria’s rich and diverse cultural heritage will take place on Thursday, 21st November 2024, at Merit House, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja. The event will kick off with a glamorous red carpet at 1 PM.

The festival celebrates Nigeria’s three major ethnic groups—Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo—highlighting their unique cultural values, languages, traditional attires, and cuisines. It is designed to foster unity by bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to appreciate and celebrate the beauty of Nigerian culture.

One of the event’s key attractions will be a series of competitions where participants from different ethnic groups will showcase their cultural languages and traditions without communicating in English. Prizes will be awarded to winners, providing a platform for cultural troupes to gain recognition and support for their growth.

Speaking about the festival, Yeye Rose Odika JP emphasized its goal of empowering cultural troupes and promoting unity among Nigerians. “This event is not just a celebration but a way to showcase and preserve our cultural heritage while creating opportunities for cultural troupes to thrive,” she said.

The event will be chaired by Senator Barr. Prince Ned Nwoko, with Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abiodun, Federal Representative and Chairman, House Committee on Culture and Tourism, serving as the guest of honour.

With its engaging lineup and focus on cultural diversity, “The Beauty of Culture Festival 2024” promises to be a vibrant and enriching experience for all attendees.
