Libya: Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy Fulfilled As Rival Militias Clash, Over 51 Dead

Clashes between rival militias in Libya’s capital killed at least 51 people and left residents trapped in their homes Tuesday, unable to escape the violence, medical authorities said.

The fighting appears to be the most intense to shake Tripoli this year. In addition to the 51 deaths, over 100 people were injured in the fighting, Libya’s Emergency Medicine and Support Center, a medical body that is deployed during humanitarian disasters and wars, said early Wednesday.

The escalation follows months of relative peace after nearly a decade of civil war in Libya, where two rival sets of authorities are locked in a political stalemate. Longstanding divisions have sparked several incidents of violence in Tripoli in recent years, although most have been over in a matter of hours.

This incident has fulfilled the prophecy of Nigerian Prophet, Primate Ayodele who sent warnings to the country in his annual prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations. In the 2022/2023 edition, the prophet revealed that he foresees political tension and leadership tussle in the country. He explained that there will be troubles in the country and a complex situation will arise.

These are his words:

‘’LIBYA: I foresee there will be political tension, leadership tussle and ethnic troubles in the country. Gadhafi allies will still be promoting political tension in the country. The country will need international help to survive. Their full reintegration into full fledge democracy will be delayed even as there will be change in their constitution. The people will clamor for democracy and better governance. The country will need a lot of helps for them to stabilize. The country must prevent another round of political crisis and they must not joke with democracy. They must be careful of bomb scare and poor economic issues so that they will not be confused. I foresee troubles ahead. Let the country pray so that their oil facilities will not be attacked. Libya should pray against crisis and complex situations and also pray against bomb blast and fire outbreak. The country should pray against fractionalization of the country on the basis of who to support and who not to.’’

The fight broke out between the influential 444 Brigade and the Special Deterrence Force, two of the many armed groups that have vied for power since the overthrow of longtime ruler Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.

The clashes started after the detention of the head of the 444 Brigade, Colonel Mahmoud Hamza, by the rival Special Deterrence Force on Monday, an interior ministry official said.

The 444 Brigade is affiliated with Libya’s defence ministry and is reputed to be the North African country’s most disciplined armed group.

The Special Deterrence Force is a powerful ultraconservative militia that acts as the capital’s police force.

In relation to Primate Ayodele’s prophecy, the battle between them has been described as a tussle for leadership and control in the North African country. This is also political because both militias are after getting key appointments in government, according to reports.

This has no doubt fulfilled the prophecy of Primate Ayodele.
