Europe-based Philanthropist, Ifeoma Benson Ohabugbiro Launches Phinadon Touching Lives Foundation in Lagos

On Saturday, March 25th, 2023, philanthropist Delight Ifeoma Benson Ohabugbiro launched the Phinadon Touching Lives Foundation at the prestigious Presken Hotel on Awolowo Road in Ikeja, Lagos.

The event was attended by a host of dignitaries, including government officials, business leaders, and socialites. The launch was marked with pomp and pageantry as guests were treated to a night of music, dance, and networking.

In her remarks at the launch, Delight Ifeoma Benson Ohabugbiro expressed her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people in Nigeria and beyond.

According to Ohuhu Umuahia North, Abia State-born duva, “Phinadon Touching Lives Foundation is a divine call. It’s a clarion call that must not be defied. Right from my childhood, I had found solace in making people smile. That has been my driving force and trademark right from the inception. Within my capacity, I have been helping people, giving joys to vulnerable people in society, and assisting people in different facets of life. But you know when you don’t have a platform, your efforts in helping people will gain little or no recognition.

“In view of this, I sat myself down and asked myself different questions about my passion for humanity. After a series of soliloquies, I came to the conclusion that if I truly want to reach out to as many people as possible, then it is imperative for me to recruit the best team of like-minded people. A trusted team that I know won’t deter me from stretching my helping hands to my people. A team that would share the same vision and ambition with me. A team that won’t cease or get tired of exploring their efforts when it comes to helping humanity.

“However, I researched and investigated some of the people I’m connected with one way or the other back home, and we formulated the best team ever-ready to take the bull by the horn whenever the need arises.

“Phinadon Touching Lives Foundation is a non-governmental organization saddled with the responsibility of developing society, creating bridges between the poorest and richest in society, helping the needy within the ambit of our capacity, and rehabilitating the mindset of people towards the development of our society.

“Besides all of this, the NGO is floated to harness and foster peaceful co-existence and understanding amongst the African continent and of course promoting the culture and language of the Ibo(s) and enhancing the orientation and rehabilitation of Ibo(s) both home and across the borders.

“We’ve been able to touch some lives within the short period of our existence as a charity organization. As everyone was joyfully preparing to welcome the new year with their family, we took the challenge upon ourselves to visit orphanage homes, one of which is SO-SAID orphanage and rehabilitation center in Lagos, where we doled out food items, sanitary items, and cash to the motherless children and challenged individuals there.

“On the same note, we ventured into reaching out to widows and widowers in a village called Odo, a suburb town under Agbowa-Ikosi, Epe Local Government, Lagos State.

“At the event, we had over one hundred widows and widowers who had been abandoned by their people and were living in abject poverty. We supported them with foodstuff and also gave them a token amount of money to brighten their day and ease them from their immediate needs for the day.

“Besides the above individual personalities, we also deemed it fit to present books and writing materials to students in different schools, among which are Lifeline College and Foundation Kids School, respectively.

“We enjoyed the warm receptions of the teachers, staff, the entire management of those schools and of course we can read the enthusiasm in the face of the pupils because they are experiencing the love we extended to them for the first time in their existential as students.
