Change of Plans: Late Nollywood Actor, Murphy Afolabi’s To Be Buried in Lagos Today!

 

In a surprising turn of events, the family of the late Nollywood actor, Murphy Olawale Afolabi, who tragically passed away in his bathroom a few days after his 49th birthday, has changed their initial plans for his burial.

It was Initially scheduled to transport his remains to his hometown in Osogbo, Osun State for the final rites, but the family has now decided to bury him in Lagos.

According to the latest information received by www.naijasocietynews.com, the family made the decision to lay Murphy Afolabi to rest at his land located at Mopelufa Town, Aleke Bus Stop, along Adamo Road in Ikorodu, Lagos.

The burial ceremony is set to take place today Monday 15th, 2023. Sympathizers are advised to gather at the specified location by 4pm.

The change in burial venue has come as a surprise to many, as it deviates from the initial plan of returning Murphy Afolabi’s remains to his hometown. However, the family’s decision is respected, and preparations are now underway to ensure a dignified farewell for the beloved actor.
