The family of Chief Harry Ayoade Akande, have announced next week Wednesday a date for the burial of the late billionaire in Ibadan, the Oyo State.
The funeral rites of the late Agbaoye of Ibadan land, will commence with a commendation Service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos on Monday December 21 by 10.00am.
On Tuesday, December 22, there will be a Night of Tributes at the Jogor Event Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, by 5pm.
The remains of the late Chief Akande will be buried on Wednesday December 23, after a Funeral service at the St. David’s Anglican Church Cathedral, Kudeti, Ibadan.
His son, Olumide Akande who released the programme the family was constrained to restrict attendance at the events.
According to him, although the late billionaire “engaged with a wide network of people, COVID-19 safety protocols, compel us to restrict attendance of all activities to family, close friends and associates.
“Consequently, there will also be no post-funeral reception for guests as alternative arrangements will be made in this regard.
“However, Zoom links will be available for those who wish to join us online”, he said.
