Lara Taiwo, whose full name is Taiwo Funke Ayokunumi, is a young and talented actress and producer in the Nigerian film industry, popularly known as Nollywood. Born and raised in Shomolu, Lagos State, she is of Ososa origin in Ogun State, Nigeria, and currently resides in Lagos.

She completed her primary education at Ayedere Ajibola in Shomolu, Lagos, and went on to pursue her secondary education at Our Lady of Apostle. She then obtained her tertiary education at Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijagun, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Lara Taiwo’s passion for acting began during her primary school days, and she turned it into a professional career in 2007. Since then, she has featured in several blockbuster movies, showcasing her versatility and talent as an actress. Some of the movies she has appeared in include “Aye Nsare,” “Aye Kusibikan,” “Aye Koro,” “Jagunlabi,” “Sobaata,” “Kogbon,” and many more. In addition to acting, Lara Taiwo is also a skilled script writer, with a keen sense of storytelling.

Apart from her successful acting career, Lara Taiwo is also an accomplished entrepreneur. She is the CEO of Lasuc Enterprise, a thriving business that deals in beverages and groceries. She is also a producer, with notable movies to her credit such as “Ki Lobinrin Fe” and “Odaada,” among others. Lara Taiwo’s creativity extends beyond the entertainment industry, as she is also a personal shopper, a masseuse, a content creator, and a brand influencer.

In addition to her work in the entertainment and business sectors, Lara Taiwo has also made contributions to the education field. She completed her compulsory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program as a teacher at Government Secondary School Garki Area 10, Abuja. She has also worked as a teacher at Ago Iwoye Secondary School in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, where she has positively impacted the lives of many students.
