TTNH Show Unveils Young Talents at YABATECH’s ‘Unlocking the Potentials in Scholars’

The Talented Neighborhood Hobbies Show (TTNH) has begun its highly anticipated 2025 school tour, with Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) as the first stop. The event, themed “Unlocking the Potentials in Scholars,” was held on February 6, 2025, in front of the School of Liberal Studies and showcased a spectacular array of talents among students.

Aimed at bridging the gap for young creatives, the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS) at YABATECH partnered with TTNH Show to provide students with a platform to express their artistic abilities. The event featured dance, music, stunts, comedy, spoken word poetry, and other creative performances.

Outstanding Talents Rewarded with Cash Prizes and Endorsements

The competition saw students displaying their exceptional skills, ranging from dancing and singing to stand-up comedy. While many participants walked away with consolation prizes, others received cash rewards and even endorsement deals, thanks to the support of Awonkanwa Records.

Awonkanwa’s Vision for Young Talents

Speaking at the event, Adeyinka Habeeb, popularly known as Awonkanwa, the convener of TTNH Show, expressed his commitment to promoting young talents. Awonkanwa, who is also an artiste, actor, and CEO of Awonkanwa Records, shared his personal experiences of overcoming challenges in the entertainment industry.

“As a talent, I faced frustrating challenges—financial limitations, lack of support, and condemnation from those who didn’t believe in my vision. That is why I am committed to discovering and promoting young talents, giving them a platform to boost their careers,” he said.

Sponsors and Partners Recognized

Awonkanwa expressed gratitude to the sponsors who contributed to the success of the talent hunt, including Fiezta Concierge, IYK Media, Able God Communications, Smtnedge Logistics Int Ltd, GeeQ Entertainment, and others.

Advice to Young Creatives

Addressing aspiring entertainers, Awonkanwa encouraged consistency, hard work, and faith in God.

“There is nothing impossible with God. Trusting Him and allowing Him to guide your path is the surest way to success. I also believe consistency is key, especially in the entertainment industry. Keep doing what you love, and with prayer, success is inevitable,” he advised.

With the resounding success of the YABATECH edition, the TTNH Show is set to continue its school tour, unlocking talents and transforming lives across various institutions in Nigeria.
