The body of pa, james Adewumi Olaniyan has been laid to rest in his home town in Ikole Ekiti.
The Olaniyan was amoung the set of 1974, Egbeoba High school in Ikole Ekiti before he proceeded to the polytechnic Ibadan where he studied and Bagged HND in Accountancy in 1980 and later became chattered in 1989 at first attempt.
He later obtained certificates in computer Science, French Bsc Accounting in university of Ado Ekiti where he rose to become managing Director University Guest House and the deputy Bursar.
Pa Olaniyan got married to Mrs Adefunke in 1985 and were blessed with 3 children. He was reputed as a good man who is always ready to help others.
Late James Olaniyan is the Father of barrister Micheal Olaniyan the Technical Officer Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids. (West Africa) who is also the First born of the Family
Michael in his word described his father as a friend, father, mentor and whom he will forever be grateful to God.
Pa james Adewumi Olaniyan is survived by his wife and children Micheal, Ayomiku, Damilola,Bukunola and Boluwatife.
In Ikole to bid him final farewell are, among others, members of Nigeria civil society organisations including the Executive Director of CAPPA Akinbode Oluwafemi faculty of Art EKSU and members of the Ekiti judiciary
