Toby Foyeh And Orchestra Africa Set to Tour The UK In May 2022

British, Nigerian-American musician and guitarist, Toby Foyeh is set to tour the United Kingdom with Orchestra Africa. The afro beats wizard who has released albums over a period of almost forty years, has shared his UK tour dates starting in May.

Kicking off on the 4th of May, lovers of good music have been implored to gather at Band on the Wall in Manchester and then the Brewery Arts Center in Cumbria on the 5th, followed by more performances at The Vortex in London on the 6th, reaching a crescendo on the 7th at The Plough Arts Center in Torrington.

This isn’t the first time the Jazz maestro has been on tour, even in Nigeria. Toby Foyeh and Orchestra Africa have been on tour internationally and performed in many International Jazz Festivals such as Malta Jazz Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival (thrice), Montreal International Jazz Festival, Vancouver Jazz Festival, Calgary Jazz Festival, Medicine Hat Jazz Festival, Detroit Jazz Festival, Syracuse Jazz Festival, Washington DC Jazz Festival, Bahamas Jazz Festival, Jamaica Ocho Rios Jazz Festival, Grenada Spice Jazz Festival, Curaçao Jazz Festival and Fuji Rock Festival, Nigaata, Japan.

“Toby Foyeh will also be performing exciting medleys from some of his notable albums which include “Pirates of Africa” and the recently released, “ African Festival”. The tour is something that has been in the works for a bit and seeing as the UK is now enjoying respite from restrictions that came as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic, the second quarter of the year is infact a good time to get him in front of fans.” his Publicist Orisha revealed in a zoom meeting with men of the press.
