Nollywood star actor, Odunlade Adekola, has announced the commencement of the burial rites of his late father, Pastor N.A. Adekola.
In a post shared on his official Instagram page today, Sunday, August 17, 2025, the actor revealed that the burial activities begin with a Commendation Service at his father’s planted church, Christ Apostolic Church, Itedo Alafia, Ita Oshin Opeoluwa, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The actor wrote:

Pastor N.A. Adekola, a revered servant of God and church planter, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of faith and service. His demise has drawn tributes from family members, church members, colleagues of his son in the entertainment industry, and well-wishers across Nigeria.
The burial program is expected to attract dignitaries from the Christian community and Nollywood, as many colleagues and fans of Odunlade Adekola are already sending their condolences and prayers.
