Serious War in Yoruba Movie Industry As Azeez Jamiu Accuses Mama Ereko of Film Theft

These are definitely not the best of times between veteran Yoruba actress, Morenike Alausah Sulaimon aka Mama Ereko and another star actor, Jamiu Azeez as the talented actor allegedly accused the old woman to have stolen a movie’s story from him.

Recently, Jamiu produced a new movie titled Oko Ramota where he featured popular Instagram comedienne, Aunty Ramota. The promo of the film, which was directed by ace movie director, Okiki Afolayan went viral on social media but it was so disheartening last weekend when Azeez shared on Instagram a video of him weeping, claiming that a fellow movie practitioner has stolen from him the concept he used in Oko Ramota.

As expected, alot of his colleagues in the Industry took to their several social media platforms to repost the video and cast spell on the person who did such.

However, it was entirely another drama last night when Mama Ereko took to her Instagram page to share another video where she replied Azeez Jamiu and also cursing him for accusing her wrongly.

Mama Ereko claimed that though, she intends to feature Aunty Ramota but the story line of the film is totally different from that of Azeez Jamiu.

The fresh cold war, www.naijasocietynews.com exclusively gathered that has now been taken to the association of Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) under the leadership of Balaji Amusan aka Mr Latin.
