Prophet Olagunroye Faleyimu has joined Iseyin sons and daughters with others to pay homage, and also to wish the new Aseyin of Iseyin land, Oba Sefiu Oyebola Adeyeri III well having completed the traditional rites to ascend the throne of his forbears, in Oke Ogun, Oyo State.
The newly installed Aseyin of Iseyi town completed all the traditional rites as a King, and people of his community have continued to pay homage as the community basks in the euphoria of being blessed with a new Royal father.
Prophet Faleyimu in his congratulatory message wishes the new king long live as he takes over the mantle of leadership in Iseyin and prays for a successful reign for the new Aseyin.
in his words, Olagunroye described Oba Sefiu Oyebola Adeyeri as a perfect match for the community as God had spoken to him that good things would come to the community with the choice of this new king.
“The new king has ascended the throne as a young man, may he live to attain old age with lots of development in the community,” Faleyimu said.
We learnt the new monarch has left the groove after completing the Ipebi rites, a tradition that has officially earned him the title of King over his subjects.
The monarch has left Ile Oloye where he observed the necessary traditional waiting period and has now arrived at his palace, alongside his chiefs, including the Bashorun of Iseyin land, High Chief Raheem Adelodun and Ikolaba of Iseyin land, High Chief Ismail Tikalosoro.
Residents of the town have now begun to troop into the palace to pay homage to their new king.
It could be recalled that Oyebola was picked as the new Aseyin of Iseyin land by the kingmakers in August this year. He succeeded Oba Abdulganiy Adekunle Ologunebi who died in July last year.
