Nigerian representatives to this year's International Spelling Bee competition slated for 24th of September 2021 in Dubai, UAE, are now in the land of Emirates. The adolescents ranging from 12 years to 15 years are qualify from local competition from school across all regions of the country in the Spelling Bee contest in Nigeria.
Peat Philips Foundation is the organiser of the Spelling Bee in Nigeria and the current edition is the 8th season of the annual educational competition being organised by the Foundation.
The 8th season is unique in the sense that Peat Philips Foundation currently and just recently has the franchise for the Intercontinental Spelling Bee and winners of the national competition in Nigeria will be featuring in the 2021 Intercontinental Spelling Bee in Dubai.
The Nigeria qualifiers are currently in Dubai after rigorous camping and training at the DeMeros Hotels towards their preparation for the competition in Dubai.
The representative were given a boost during their camping when Hon. Fateema Aduke Mohammed made a surprise visit to the Spellers at the camp to motivate and encourage them to do excellently well at the Spelling Bee Olympiad in Dubai.
