Nollywood Actress, Faithia Balogun Announces Date For mother’s  Burial

The families of Late Williams Ikperha of Delta State and Late Udaba of Enugu State have announced the passing of their beloved matriarch, Late Mrs. Gloria Uzoamaka Williams Ikperha (née Udaba), fondly known as Iya Oyinbo, who is the mother of popular Nollywood Actress, Faithia Balogun Williams.
Mrs. Williams Ikperha, who passed away on February 7, 2026, after a brief illness, was aged 78. Described as a virtuous woman, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her death has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and associates.
According to the funeral arrangements released by the family, a wake keeping will hold on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at 9 Karounwi Street, off Borokini Road, Aga, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The interment and lying-in-state ceremony are scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi (3 James George Street, off Alagbon Close, Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos).
A thanksgiving mass will conclude the obsequies on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, Yewa Road, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos.
The family expressed gratitude for the support and prayers received during this difficult time and called on friends and well-wishers to join them in celebrating the life and legacy of a woman they described as loving, strong, and deeply devoted to her family and community.
