Budding gospel artiste, Folashade Olufemi has described her music journey as a life-changing experience that has connected her with highly placed personalities she never imagined meeting.

Popularly known as Shade Covenant, the 2015 Mass Communication graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, shared her story during an interview on Wednesday in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Reflecting on her journey, the Yagba-West, Kogi State-born singer revealed that despite starting her music career in 2003, she has yet to release an album due to challenges, including being defrauded.

“I have been scammed in my bid to produce an album. This left me hopeless, and I decided to take a break and focus on getting married,” she said.

However, the determined artist hinted at a fresh start, announcing plans to release a new single titled *Covenant Child*, which she hopes will inspire and delight her fans and supporters.

Folashade remains optimistic about the future, expressing gratitude for the connections and experiences her music career has brought her despite the setbacks.
