The City of Ibadan, Oyo State was on Saturday 27th March 2021 thrown into celebration mood as the state chapter of Theater Arts And Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), under the leadership of its governor, Yeye Rose Odika, celebrated the World Theater Day in grand style.
The colourful event, which took place at Race Course Event Center, Adamasingba, Ibadan, kicked off with Morning section speech from Mrs Olabisi Ogundiran, Oyo State Coordinator for Copyright Commission and the topic of her speech was “Defining Copyright Boundries, The Nigerian Copyright Act.
The afternoon section was a command performance titled “Solution” and the honourable commisioner for Culture and Tourism Oyo State gave a keynote address.
There was a parade from the 33 Local Government of TAMPAN in Oyo State and Akinyele Local Government came first in the parade.
Dignitaries present at the event include The president of TAMPAN, Otunba Bolaji Amusan’s representative, Mr Yemi Amodu, who is the director of research and documentation, Alhaji Niyi Adedayo, Madam Mistura Asumo, the Aare Ago of the source, Oloye Samson Eluwole, Bose Akinola, Rukat Lawal, Adewale Taofeek Digboluja, Yomi Duroladipo, Omoba Ogunkola, all State excos, elders, and local government excos.
