Inclusive Governance Births Democracy”* – Her Grace Iya Aladura General Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye

 

 

 

The Founder of The New Seraph evangelical ministries, Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, said that inclusive governance births democracy during the Church annual general conference on Thursday.

 

Yomi-Sholoye encouraged the individual participation in political as she emphasized the exercising of franchise, supporting the government and contributing to the society.

 

“Eeryone is expected to exercise their civic responsibility by voting during elections, support the government, participate in government activities, most especially our youths , they shouldn’t be used as objects by bad politicians,  they are our future and we need to secure the future for us all.”

 

 

Yomi-Sholoye who is also the Iya-Aladura general of cherubim and seraphim church, emphasized the importance of the government in prioritizing the masses by addressing the hardship and difficulties faced by the people through inclusive policies and activities

 

 

She said, ” government  should think more about the masses, there’s hardship in the country,the government should focus on mass created activities and policies that will ease the difficulties and the pains of the masses that’s my advice to the government.”

 

 

 

The theme of the conference is “Approaching Centenary”. Yomi-Sholoye urges members to uphold the teachings of Christ and follow the examples of their forebears who laid the foundation of the C&S church.”

 

 

 

“As we approach our centenary year, we gathered to review our journey, challenges, and future direction as a church. Our focus is on the undiluted word of God, comfort, and wisdom to inspire growth and progress. We should uphold the teachings of our forbear Saint Moses Orimolade.”

 

 

 

The congregation united in prayer, song, and fellowship, their collective spirit a testament to the enduring legacy of the C&S church.
