The people of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) are grieving over the sudden death of their beloved Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Hon. Femi Anifowoshe, who died late hours of Monday, after brief illness.
According to a family member, late Anifowoshe had been on the path of recovery from illness before his untimely demise. He has been laid to rest according to Islamic rite.
While mourning the late SLG, The executive chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon.Sulaiman Kazeem Olanrewaju described him as humble, hardworking, and dedicated public servant whose unwavering commitment to the development of Ikorodu West LCDA was unmatched.”
Chairman said “With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our devoted Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Femi Anifowoshe, who died today after a brief illness. May the Almighty grant him eternal rest and provide his family, especially the children he left behind, the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss. May his soul rest in peace.
Hon. Femi Anifowoshe was more than an administrator—he was a bridge-builder, a team player, and a true son of Ikorodu. His contributions to governance, peacebuilding, and youth engagement have left an indelible mark on the community.
