A disgruntled customer, Muazu Abu Juwairiyya, has taken to social media to express his frustration with Polaris Bank over a failed transaction amounting to over Ten Million Naira (N10,161,250).
Juwairiyya alleged that on September 23, 2024, he made a payment for the registration of M L I Global Enterprises through the Remita Reference Number (RRR) platform. Despite receiving confirmation of payment, the transaction remains marked as unsuccessful.
In his words, “Dear sir, I paid the sum of 10,161,250 for M L I GLOBAL ENTERPRISES company registration on September 23, 2024, at 12:33:38 pm with RRR. I tried to check the payment status, but it is still not successful. I need a reversal.”
The customer’s growing frustration stems from Polaris Bank’s failure to resolve the issue or process a timely reversal of the funds. This has led to accusations of negligence and a lack of accountability within the bank’s operations.
Critics argued that this incident sheds light on systemic issues within Polaris Bank, particularly regarding transaction processing and customer support. The bank’s inability to ensure seamless transactions has raised concerns about the security of customers’ funds and compromised the trust of many.
The bank’s response to the matter has been seen as inadequate, with repeated promises of resolution but no concrete actions. As customers continue to voice their concerns, Polaris Bank’s reputation is at risk, leaving many questioning the safety of their funds.
