In an emotional acceptance speech, Edo Charles dedicated the award to those who supported his journey, highlighting the challenges and triumphs that brought him to this moment.

 

“Wow, I’m truly humbled and grateful!” he said. “I dedicate this award to God, for turning disgrace into grace; to my incredible fans for your unwavering support; to my sponsors for believing in “Enter D Lafta’s” vision; to my friends and team for your tireless efforts; and to my beautiful daughters for being my strength and inspiration.”

 

Reflecting on the past year, Edo Charles revealed that he once doubted the future of “Enter D Lafta”, but through resilience and faith, the show overcame its struggles. “A year ago, I doubted if “Enter D Lafta” would continue. But God’s grace prevailed, and here we are, standing tall as the best comedy show of 2024!” he shared.

 

Grateful for the recognition, Edo Charles also thanked the AMA Awards for honoring his work, adding, “Our voice is now louder, and we’re committed to spreading laughter and joy.”
