Ex-Labour Party’s Presidential Aspirant Writes Joe Biden Over Denial Of Visa At American Embassy

American based Nigerian actor cum music star, Faduri Oluwadamilare Joseph, who inspired to be the next Nigerian president under the platform of Labour Party before stepping down for Peter Obi, has reached out to the American President, Joe Biden and US Consulate General in Nigeria, Will Stephens, following the denial of Visa to Nigerians at American Embassy.

Faduri sent his opinion about this in an opened letter he wrote on Sunday 11th, December 2022, to draw the government attention towards the inhuman nature and maltreatment, being done to several Nigerians making moves to visit the United States of America from Nigeria since the tenure of Mr Donald Trump.

The letter read thus: “Your Excellency, Joe Biden. Let me first congratulate you on the just concluded midterm election here in the US. I am a Nigerian base here in America.

“It is very imperative at this time to bring to your notice the inhuman nature and maltreatment being done to many Nigerians who are trying to visit the United States from Nigeria since the last administration of Mr Trump.

“I know Many Nations are trying to reduce the influx of foreigners to their Nation but the rate at which denying of visas to Nigerians in the last 4yrs has not only been ridiculous but inhuman. So many good Nigerians who wants to come to America for visiting are on daily basis denied visas, even those who have come before who just needed to renew their visa are getting denied in gross numbers.

“The embassy have the right of course to deny visas, but the rate it is denying Nigerisns, calls for attention and review as almost 90% of Nigerians that goes to US Embassy these days within the last 4yrs gets denied.

“Nigerians are good people. We are the best everywhere we go. Many of us here in the US are the ones making the economy of US stronger day by day. Nigerians are Doctors in all field, Nurses, Lawyers, and Social Workers, we cut across all sectors here in the US, contributing immensely to American economy, and to see our people being treated with so much rejection at the Embassy calls for concern.

“I hereby call on you Mr President, to get involve and stop racism policies that is already affecting Nigerians. Nigeria deserves more better treatment from US. I am even aware of a Nigerian, who makes your cabinet.

“Nigerians people are going through a lot right now and to see US Embassy in Nigeria rejecting so many Nigerians from visiting or doing business across the country is disappointing to many of us, who are daily seeing the cry of Nigerians, who goes to Embassy and come back denying in large numbers.

Looking forward to review of visas from Nigeria to US. Thank you

Signed
Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, Former Presidential Aspirant of Labour Party,Nigeria”, he wrote.
