Reports has claimed that the President, Animal Care Services Konsult Limited, Ogere Remo, Ogun State, Sir Olatunde Agbato is dead.
The deceased who clocked 70 August 4 2020 was said to have died on Thursday afternoon of an ailment in an undisclosed hospital.
He was said to have been ill for over a month and was unable to be flown out of the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The late Dr. Olatunde Aiyedun Agbato,was a Knight of John Wesley of Methodist Church Nigeria.
He was born at Ogere Remo and attended Wesley School, Ogere Remo, Ijebu Ode Grammar School and the University of Ibadan. where he studied Veterinary Medicine and Obtained the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1975 with distinctions in pathology and parasitology.
He served for about 16 months as a lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ibadan before enrolling for a Master of Business Administration program at the University of Lagos; thus graduating 15 months later with an MBA degree; becoming the first veterinarian in the country to do so.
Agbato joined SEEPC Nigeria Limited as the technical-commercial manager in charge of feeds and also doubled as the in-house Veterinarian of the organization. During his tenure with the organization, his exceptional organizational ability manifested in his several innovative initiatives that broke new grounds in the business and established SEEPC Limited as a leader in the livestock feed industry.
His astuteness in business and his outstanding success in the livestock feed industry was so overbearing that he decided to set new goals and targets for himself by starting his own venture Animal Care Services Konsult (NIG) Ltd in partnership with his amiable wife, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Agbato, a poultry technologist, who is the Executive Director of the company.
He has been (and still is) one of the major pillars of private veterinary practice in Nigeria where his organization, ANIMAL CARE SERVICES KONSULT (NIG) LTD can be said to be the largest private employer of Veterinarians in the country with more than 21 qualified veterinarians in its employment. Dr. Agbato’s vision, dynamism and industry earned him and his organization recognized nationally and internationally. This culminated into many honours and awards for exemplary contributions to the livestock industry, veterinary profession and these include:

Internation Ambassador for peace by the Youth Federation for world peace an affiliate of Universal Peace Federation, an NGO with Consultative status at the United Nations.
Since 2004, he has been elected member of the veterinary Council of Nigeria.
