Ambassador Olufemi Oguntoyinbo Named FIBAN Life Patron

In a night brimming with joy, festivities, and commendation, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, an accomplished politician and business magnate, was bestowed with the distinguished title of life patron by the Freelance Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Lagos State chapter, on October 29, 2023.

This momentous occasion, attended by luminaries from the world of broadcasting, was not only aimed at inaugurating the new executive team of the association but also included the official appointment of the life patron, a commemoration of the late Gbenga Adeboye, and the recognition of several prominent figures in the country.

Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi was the sole personality to be honored as the life patron of the association. Additionally, as the CEO of Eagle Media and Bullion Go Neat Global Limited, he received a special recognition award in acknowledgment of his substantial contributions to society and his humanitarian endeavors on a national scale.

In his acceptance speech, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi expressed his gratitude to FIBAN for the prestigious honor and pledged to exert his utmost efforts in advancing the association’s mission.

During an interaction with the media, Ambassador Oguntoyinbo called upon FIBAN to take measures to eliminate counterfeit broadcasters within their ranks and utilize their positions and knowledge to enhance the nation’s welfare.

As a philanthropist with diverse talents, he urged the government to make broadcasting a more sustainable profession by rendering broadcasting equipment more affordable to practitioners. He emphasized, “To enable broadcasters to be effective and responsible, they need access to suitable equipment, especially given the current challenges associated with the exchange rate.”

When questioned about his next political move, Oguntoyinbo, who previously ran for the position of Ogun State Governor, boldly stated, “I aspire to become the next president. We must collectively work to liberate this nation from its current state of decline and transform it for the better.”

Ambassador Olufemi Oguntoyinbo’s resounding voice and commitment to enhancing the broadcasting industry and national governance mark him as a pivotal figure in the nation’s ongoing journey of transformation.
