Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King Mourns Otunba Subomi Balogun

The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Adron Homes and Properties, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King mourns the demise of prominent Ijebu son, an industrialist, consummate banker and the Olori Omoba of Ijebuland, Otunba Subomi Balogun who died at the early hours of May 19, 2023 in London, United Kingdom.

Aare Adetola believes the shocking death of the founder First City Monument Bank FCMB is a colossal loss to Ijebu People, Ogun State and Nigeria at large because his repertoire of knowledge, support and entrepreneurship is needed at this time, Nigeria is transiting to a new government. ‘As a private sector guru, successful business mogul and an astute financial czar, his support will help place Nigeria on the path of economic recovery and posterity.’

The Otun Onigbagbo of Remo Land further described the deceased as a shining light in the banking sector; whose idea has been a game changer in the banking industry with the astronomic growth of FCMB. ‘Otunba Balogun is a well respected Man with a large heart. The illustrious Ijebu son is a very generous philanthropist who has contributed immensely to the growth of many people in and outside Nigeria. He is detribalized Nigerian who is concern about the unity of the country and he has portrayed this with his endearing persona. The lacuna his death has left cannot be filed in a hurry. I pray that God almighty console the family of the deceased and give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.’
