Breaking: TAMPAN Suspends Yomi Fabiyi’s Co-director, Dele Matti, Summons All Cast in “Oko Iyabo”

Barely 5 days after he was summoned by the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), for producing a controversial movie titled, “Oko Iyabo”, Nollywood actor, Producer cum Director, Yomi Fabiyi’s co-director of the film, Mr Dele Matti has been suspended for three months, while all the cast of the film were also summoned.

A new letter signed by Yemi Amodu, the director of research and documentation for TAMPAN claimed that the said cast are expected to appear before the Ethic, Conflict and Resolution Committee of the association on 24th, July 2021.

Though, the letter claimed that the actor, Yomi Fabiyi insisted that it is his fundamental human right to use his creative talent to produce films that will tell his own account of the trending issue but his co-director admitted his fault and regretted his involvement in the film.
