For many aspiring actors, the road to stardom is filled with challenges, disappointments and sacrifices. For fast-rising Nollywood actress Olaide Bisola Omobolanle, popularly known on Instagram as Nicebody4real, giving up has never been an option.
The Ogun State-born actress, who hails from Abeokuta, officially joined the Nigerian movie industry in June 2024 and has since continued to make her mark with appearances in several Yoruba films, including Bi Ife Oto, Omo Yankee, Vinto International, Abiamo, among others.
Despite being relatively new in the industry, Nicebody4real says her passion for acting has remained the driving force behind her steady rise, even in the face of difficult experiences.
Recalling one of the biggest challenges she encountered shortly after joining Nollywood, the actress revealed that she was invited to a movie location where she ended up spending more than a month under harsh conditions.
According to her, she was left to cater for her accommodation, feeding and transportation throughout the production without receiving any financial support. To make matters worse, she was not paid for the role she played.
“I stayed on location for over a month. My accommodation wasn’t paid for, there was no food allowance, no fuel support and I wasn’t even paid for the role I acted. I also had to buy extra clothes because I never imagined I would stay that long,” she said.
Rather than allowing the experience to discourage her, Nicebody4real said she chose to remain focused on her dream.
“I didn’t complain because I have so much passion for acting. I love what I do, and that passion helped me overcome the challenges,” she added.
Her resilience and determination have continued to earn her admiration among colleagues and fans, who believe she represents the new generation of dedicated talents willing to make sacrifices in pursuit of success.
With several movie credits already to her name and a growing presence on social media, industry watchers believe Olaide is one of the promising actresses to watch in Nollywood.
As she continues to build her career, the Abeokuta-born actress remains committed to honing her craft and proving that perseverance, talent and passion can ultimately overcome even the toughest obstacles on the journey to success.
