Leading All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (popularly known as AKK), has congratulated the Oyo APC Chairman, Alhaji Olayide Moshood Abas, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message released on Saturday, Dr. Kareem described Alhaji Abas as “a pillar of progressive ideologies and a rallying point for all party members”, noting that his leadership has united the APC family in Oyo State and strengthened the party’s growth across the state.
“Under your guidance, the APC in Oyo State has witnessed a monumental drive toward attainment and growth, marked by increased acceptance and the influx of dedicated individuals committed to our cause,” Kareem said.
He recalled that the Chairman’s open-door leadership style had facilitated the admission of thousands of new members, including his own Aseyori Support Group, into the party.
Dr. Kareem also commended Alhaji Abas for his ability to balance party leadership with his official role as Board Chairman of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna, where he oversees critical healthcare initiatives. According to him, this dual responsibility reflects Abas’ professionalism, discipline, and exceptional capacity for effective stewardship.
“Your ability to harmonise these roles has advanced public health at the federal level and fortified our party’s strength in Oyo State,” Kareem stated.
The APC governorship hopeful prayed for long life, good health, and greater wisdom for the celebrant, while wishing him continued success in his political and professional endeavours.
