Multiple talents and creative singer, Ejire Dollar is about to make history as he becomes first Africa from Nigeria based in USA, to receive a prestigious Oscar award today, June 17th, 2023.
The highly creative is also performing today at the 12th annual US Congressional award and gala night. Interesting, the beautiful singer is the first Nigerian artist to receive such big award.
The award would hold at Yellow Box 1635 Emerson Lane, Naperville Illinois United States of America.
This was made known to us by her producer, King Julieking Olagoroye. In his words, he said that ‘ I’m glad to inform you that my artist, Ejire Dollars is receiving an award at OSCARS today, she would also performed at the event.
While reacting to this honour, Ejire Dollars said’ I’m honoured and greatfu to get this recognition award, this is not for me alone but all Nigerians and my fans across the world. This honour would enable me to put more effort in what I’m doing. Big thanks to the organisers’.
Ejire Dollar whose real names is Taiwo Fatai was born in Owerri, at Obizi Nbaze , Imo state, He grew up at Ile Oba, Tirejoye, Oyan Odo Otin LG, Osun state in Nigeria. He has been singing locally since primary school and explored other genre of music in high school.
He moved to the US and worked as a CNA while keeping up with
her singing talent .
He received an award of Excellence from the Duke Music Entertainment for her contribution to the music industry in December 2022.
