A Philanthropic Politician and Kingmaker Chief Olusegun Ajanlekoko of Foyege ruling house in Sagamu Ogun State has been appointed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the election Campaign Committee which is a sub Committee to Presidential campaign council inaugurated on the 24th September 2022 to handle the grassroot mobilization campaign for the ruling party in the forth coming Presidential election slated for February 2023, across the 36 States of the federation, his appointment was in recognition of his selfless service towards the upholding of the traditional institution in Ogun state.
According to one of the spoke person for the party presidential candidate Lanre Issa, his appointment was also in consideration of his effort during the 2019 re-election of the ruling party presidential candidate by galvanising support for the president through the umbrella of council of Obas/ Kings across south west state and other major states in the federation , this is expected to be replicated as the campaign period progresses.
In reaction to the appointment Chief Ajanlekoko expresses is joy to serve the party and reiterate the need for traditional institution in the country not to abdicate their responsibility, he thank the party flag bearer Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Chairman of the party Abdullahi Adamu for the oppoturnity to serve the party on this great task.
