Ahead of the 2022 Yoruba Movie Gist Awards, scheduled to hold in November 13th in Lagos, and the nomination list to be released in a couple of weeks, the organizers of the prestigious awards, Olakiitan Adetutu Communications, under the chairmanship of Gbolahan Adetayo, is at the moment calling on filmmakers home and abroad to submit their movies for the award’s nomination.
The announcement was made this morning, when the CEO of the innovative awards took to his personal Instagram page @gbolahanadetayo to post the below information.
According to him, “we are happy to announce to you, especially the filmmakers in the Yoruba movie genre of Nollywood to start submitting their movies, shot between December 2021 till this moment, for the 2022 Yoruba Movie Gist Award’s Nomination.
Those in diaspora are permitted to send online links of their movies. Only the movies sent to our Lagos office in VCD, DVD or via online links to this WhatsApp number 07033430851 will be recognized.
You can now send the movies to our office at Haruna Street, Off College Road, Ogba, Lagos or call 07033430851. Those sending links are to also send a minimum of 1GB data to the number above for their movies to be reviewed or bring the movies to our office. Sponsors can also call the number above for more enquiry”, he wrote.
